Provides protection to workers exposed to radiant heat, molten metal and sparks.
ASC's aluminized coats have been proven to provide the best protection against intense heat and flame proximity. Especially well suited for foundry workers, hazardous chemical workers and crash rescue firefighters.
Basic Aluminized Coat Features:
- Stand up military collar
- Hidden brass snap closures with leather pull tabs
- Raglan sleeves with wrist snaps
- Lockstitch on all joinings
- Top stitched at all seams with Kevlar thread
- Triple tacked at stress points
Alumized PBI:
This material combines aluminized fabrics superior thermal protection with a knit for comfort. The Gentex Rip Stop Knit bends easily making it more suitable for extended wear, while improving tear strength. Increased flexibility and comfort reduces heat stress by lessening effort of movement. Gentex 1098 knit design is up to 4 ounces per square yard lighter than conventional woven material. This light weight fabric has a temperature protection range of 700 - 1000 degrees F.
Aluminized Coat Sizes:
All coats are full cut and will fit comfortably over work clothes. If there is some question in choosing between two sizes, play it safe and order the larger of the two.
