Provides protection to workers exposed to radiant heat, molten metal and sparks.
ASC's aluminized coats have been proven to provide the best protection against intense heat and flame proximity. Especially well suited for foundry workers, hazardous chemical workers and crash rescue firefighters.
Basic Aluminized Coat Features:
- Stand up military collar
- Hidden brass snap closures with leather pull tabs
- Raglan sleeves with wrist snaps
- Lockstitch on all joinings
- Top stitched at all seams with Kevlar thread
- Triple tacked at stress points
Aluminzed Rayon:
Dual Mirror process reflects 95% radiant heat and resists moderate exposure to molten metal splash. This fabric has a temperature protection range of 400 - 500 degrees F. Flame retardant ingredients are included when the fiber is manufactured. The resulting flame retardancy of the fabric is permanent.
Aluminized Coat Sizes:
All coats are full cut and will fit comfortably over work clothes. If there is some question in choosing between two sizes, play it safe and order the larger of the two.
